(same curves as in Fig.3) and the net solar received at the sea surface
as modified by clouds. Values in W/m2. Black/Red: 1 and 2 cpy amplitudes of pure solar
radiation. Green/Blue: 1 and 2 cpy amplitudes of radiation modified by
cloudiness. Note that the net solar 1 cpy amplitude is larger than the
2 cpy amplitude everywhere (no 2 cpy maximum near the equator).
