Vision Disk

The vision disk is used to test peripheral vision angles, peripheral color perception & reading range for your eyes.

Dorsal view of eye with top half removed. The trnasparent lens sits behind the iris, in the ring formed by the ciliary body. The transparent unit behind the lens represents the vitreous humor.

Dorsal view of the eye with lens & vitreous humor removed. The outer layer is formed by the cornea (transparent) & the sclera (white). The iris, ciliary body & choroid layers are shown in red. The retina is the innermost orange layer with blood vessels over its surface. Trace the blood vessels back to the optic disk (blind spot), the exit point for the optic nerve.
