"500 words on how a salient aspect of the env’t in your country affects its export patterns or its inward FDI"

More specifcally:

Refer explicitly to some specific aspect of the cultural, economic, legal, or political enviroment of your country (Canada, China, or Mexico), making use of the online notes on environments for international business (linked through "Environments and Impacts of IB").
From your reading about your country, identify and document (quotes, tables, etc.) how you'd characterize your country within that specific aspect.
From this quarter's study of international trade and foreign investment, suggest how that characterization affects your country's exports, inward FDI, or outward FDI. Be explicit about how you draw that suggestion, and provide some simple information or numbers to support it. (Of course, you cannot prove it in 500 words).
