Joe is a third year Biology undergrad working on experiments with Manduca sexta in the wind tunnel, specifically how moths separate a turbulent odor signal from an odor background. - Elischa Sanders
Elischa is a fourth year undergraduate in the Neurobiology major. Elischa is working on the neural basis of olfactory figure-background separation in Manduca sexta moths using multi-channel recordings in the antennal lobe.
