I am a Research Scientist at the College of the Environment at the University of Washington, having received my PhD in 2008.  I currently live in Bellevue, Washington with my wife and two daughters.

I am studying the ecosystems of western North America to contribute to science based conservation and management of our natural resources in the face of changing climate and demography.
