Alex Fisher
former Undergraduate Research Assistant
Growing up in Spokane, Washington, Alex always had a passion for the environment. Alex received his Bachelors Degree with departmental honors in 2011 at the University of Washington in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus in water resources. While an undergraduate, he worked with the Mountain Hydrology Research Group processing and analyzing stream data and temperature data in the Sierra Nevada. He recieved his Master's degree from Stanford University in 2012 and is currently working on his Ph.D. at the University of Maryland with Dr. Larry Sanford.
In his free time, Alex enjoys traveling, sports, and exploring the great outdoors.
