{"id":77,"date":"2018-05-22T20:57:24","date_gmt":"2018-05-22T20:57:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/faculty.washington.edu\/jcompson\/?page_id=77"},"modified":"2024-07-22T10:18:10","modified_gmt":"2024-07-22T17:18:10","slug":"care","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/faculty.washington.edu\/jcompson\/care\/","title":{"rendered":"The Compassion, Awareness, Resilience and Empowerment (CARE) project"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>What is the CARE program?<\/h2>\n<p>CARE (Compassion, Awareness, Resilience, and Empowerment) is a project I am working on to create an accessible portal into self-care practices to help people build well-being and resilience. I developed it due to the overwhelming array of resources available online or in-person around self-care and well-being, making it challenging to know where to start.<\/p>\n<p data-sider-select-id=\"786ef0e4-c09c-4a3c-9d26-9ca668b3f3ac\">The CARE program comprises of guided group training sessions where participants are introduced to tools and techniques to improve self-care knowledge and prevent or alleviate burnout. The program is delivered in either four or eight in-person sessions to promote communal learning.
