Study/Exam Exam Tips

Micro 301 is a course with few science prerequites, and enrolled students represent a cross-section of the UW student body in terms of their science background and reason for taking course. The educational standing of students ranges from 3rd Quarter freshman to senior students. Some students elect to take Micro 301 to receive an overview of the field of microbiology, and for others meeting a university, natural science distribution credits, or pre-professional admission requirement. Thus, students with limited science backgrounds and interests are in the classroom with senior level science students.
