1.Teach Yourself Beginner's Hindi Script, by Rupert Snell.
2. Teach Yourself Hindi (Book + 2CD set), by Rupert Snell & Simon Weightman.
3. The Oxford Hindi-English Dictionary, by R.S. McGregor.

The following 2 textbooks are recommended for this course:
1. Primer of Modern Standard Hindi, by Michael C. Shapiro--extremely useful in later part of the course.
2. Angrezi-Hindi Kosh, by C. Bulcke (English-Hindi dictionary)
