1. Relative/Corelative Review: To review relative/corelative constructions, do the following exercises:

1a. Fill in the blanks with the appropriate set of relative/corelative pronouns (जहाँ/वहाँ; जब/तब; जितना/उतना; जैसे/वैसे; जो/वह):

1b. Combine the following two sentences together using relative/corelative pronouns.

Ex. वे किताबें मेरी हैं । वे महँगी थीं । --> जो किताबें मेरी हैं वे महँगी थीं ।

१. यह लड़की मेरी बहिन है । यह लड़की अच्छा गाती है ।

२. उसने कमला को देखा । कमला ने लाल स्वेटर पहना था ।

३. वह बचपन में एक गाँव में रहता था । गाँव दिल्ली के पास है ।

४. प्रकाश के दो दोस्त हमारे यहाँ आए थे । दोस्तों को माता जी का खाना बहुत अच्छा लगा।

५. इस स्कूल में हिंदी पढ़ायी जाती है । इस स्कूल में अमरीकी विद्यार्थी पढ़ते हैं ।

1c. Translate the following sentences into Hindi:

1. The boy who read this book yesterday is a good student.

2. I will play with the girl who is crying.

3. Americans do not speak English the way the British (अंग्रेज़) do.

4. I don't have as much money as you do.

5. We shouldn't go into that room when the baby is sleeping there.
