Review a practical current approach to imaging of emergency and trauma patients, from radiologists from the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center, the only Level I adult and pediatric trauma center in a four-state region (Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho). Enjoy 8 hours of daylight following the course each day, providing ample opportunities for sightseeing and enjoying the natural beauty of Seattle and the Puget Sound region. Summers in Seattle are sunny, with long days, some of our dryest and warmest months, and temperatures around 75 degrees. This emergency radiology course is intended for practicing radiologists, physicians-in-training, and emergency medicine providers. It is especially useful for radiologists practicing in trauma centers and emergency departments, and for those providing after hours emergency radiology coverage (eg: nighthawk type services). Although the course is primarily targeted at physicians, it has been reported as helpful for CT technologists and others involved in emergency imaging. The 2013 conference brochure is available here. Please visit the UW CME Site for updates to the program, and to register for the course. Hotel information is available at W Seattle. Seattle Information
