What if the wavelength is given?
A common form of the problem may state the wavelength of the photon and ask for its energy. The procedure for solving this type of problem is to look for a relationship between the wavelength and frequency. That relationship is then used to transform Eq (I) into an equivalent one that relates energy directly to wavelength.
