Linux and Matlab at UWB -  CSS 455         

Matlab is available on both the windows and Linux machines at UWB.  However, some features are only licensed for the Linux versions.  In class we will run either version, as is most convenient.  The parallel toolbox and distributed computing engine will probably be only on the Linux lab machines.  From home, you have a number of options as indicated:

  X-Win32: Running linux from Windows  machines at UWB XWin32 is the X-client on the UWB Windows.   If you want to access a Linux machine from a Windows machine, this provides both the SSH Xterm session and the GUI Xclient
  Using tsvnc to run Linux from home tsvnc is available to enable SSH and x-client graphical logins from your home machines to the lab linux machines
