daily quiz this Monday.
- We will finish Hanson 25,
Application A (p.171-3) in class.

electronic and vibrational absorption (Secs 14.8-9)
- We will spend some time on
Hanson 25, Application B(p.173-6)
- The second half of
class will be spent on review.
The basis for review will be the problems and exercises in the SA’s and
Hanson activities that you have done. Before class, you should go
over every one of them, up through Hanson 24, and be prepared to ask
about answers for any about which you are unsure.
- For Wednesday, April 21
- The exam will cover:
- Material in Zumdahl: Ch 13, except for 13.5,
and Ch 14, sections 14.1 through 14.6, except for discussion of benzene
on pp 687-8.
- SA1 – SA3, and Hanson

- You will hand in your
Hanson workbook and your copies of SA1-SA3. During the exam I will
check for completion of all exercises and problems, except that Hanson

work and logic in the workbooks, not just answers.
- Bring calculator, exam
book, Hanson Workbook, and SA1-3, with all problems completed.
-
After Classes: Always complete the exercises and problems for the
active learning exercise(s) if you did not get them finished in class. It is

to go back over every activity we have done and complete the problems and
exercises. Be sure to show work and logic or credit will not be given.
