Reading.

· During  the fourth week of the course read and study:

o Gaddis Chapters 3, 6, and 8

o Lomax: chapter 2, except for discussion of Classes on pp 23-7.

o Lomax, parts of Chapter 7: get an overview.

· To prepare for the fifth week of the course:

o Gaddis Chapter  10 and 11

Homework (Individual)

· HW2,  due at drop box by Monday, Oct 19 , noon. 50% penalty if turned in late, but prior to Oct 20, noon.  No credit thereafter.

· HW3 will be due Nov 2 (Week 6)

Machine Problems (with partner)

·  MP2.  (with partner)  it is due Saturday, Oct 24, midnight.  50% penalty if turned in late, but prior to Oct 25, midnight.  No credit thereafter.

· MP3.  (with partner)  it is due Saturday, Oct 31, midnight.  50% penalty if turned in late, but prior to Nov 1, midnight.  No credit thereafter.
