Web Based Library Resources at UW
- Encyclopedia Britannica - can be searched from
UW addresses.
- Library Proxy server to
give you full access to the restricted UW data bases when accessing through a web server
that is not either on campus or using Uwick connection kits. This works from any
internet service provider. The first time you access this, you will provide UWNetID
and password information to set up the proxy connection on your browser. After that,
when you click on a restricted data base, it should ask for your UWNetID and connect you.
