E-Mail Setup
provides a set of instructions to set up your UWNetID e-mail account and contains links to
the standard documents prepared by the computer center for using Pine to read e-mail on UW
computers. A document
is provided by the computer center to help you use Pine to read and post messages on our
class newsgroup. Note that you must have a UWNetID for this class.
You will also need a local NT account
in order to login to the NT system being used in the class rooms and labs supported by
Information Systems at UWB.
This is also required for this course. You may choose to use
your UWB NT account to read your e-mail, but you must set up the UWNetID
account and arrange to forward from one to the other.
UWICK is the standard
UW connectivity kit used to set up remote dial-up computer connections to the e-mail
system. You should install this on your home computer.
