Southern Sample: File Format

The following table describes the format of the data file DB_QSO_S82.dat:

Field (Column) Format Units Label Explanations
1 I7 --- dbID The name of the lightcurve file
2 F10.6 deg RA Median Right Ascension in decimal degrees (J2000)
3 F10.6 deg DEC Median Declination in decimal degrees (J2000)
4 I5 --- SDR5ID Row of Schneider catalog (out of 77429) corresponding to that QSO
5 F7.3 mag M_i K-corrected absolute i band magnitude (same as "iMag" in master file) (9)
6 F7.3 mag M_i_corr Absolute i band magnitude, k-corrected to z=2(1)
7 F6.4 --- redshift Redshift
8 F5.3 log(M/Msun) mass_BH(log(M/M_sun)) Black hole mass ('0.000' means none could be found) (1)
9 F6.3 log(ergs/s) Lbol(log(ergs/s)) Bolometric luminosity(1)
10 F6.3 mag u SDSS BEST u band PSF magnitude (2)
11 F6.3 mag g SDSS BEST g band PSF magnitude (2)
12 F6.3 mag r SDSS BEST r band PSF magnitude (2)
13 F6.3 mag i SDSS BEST i band PSF magnitude (2)
14 F6.3 mag z SDSS BEST z band PSF magnitude (2)
15 F6.3 mag Au Galactic absorption in u band (3)

Note (1): Taken from the Shen et al. (2008) catalog. A value of '-1' indicates a
newly confirmed DR7 quasar, and thus is not present in Shen et al.(2008)
(although it will likely be present in the latest catalog in Shen et al. 2011).
Note (2): SDSS photometric measurements are asinh magnitudes (Lupton, Gunn,
and Szalay 1999, AJ, 118, 1406) and are normalized (to ~3% accuracy)
to the AB-magnitude system (Oke and Gunn 1983, ApJ, 266, 713). Note
that the ugriz magnitudes are not corrected for Galactic absorption.
A "0.000" indicates that the value couldn't be retrieved from
    the SDSS database.
Note (3): Where Ag, Ar, Ai, Az = 0.736, 0.534, 0.405, 0.287 x Au.
Note (9): For Ho = 70.0, {Omega}M = 0.300, {Omega}L = 0.700, {alpha}Q = -0.50.
