\nThe goal of this graduate fellowship is to increase the diversity of students pursuing graduate degrees in data science and computational science, including women as well as students from racial\/ethnic backgrounds that have not traditionally participated in the computing field. The program will support students pursuing degrees at institutions anywhere in the world.

\nThe purpose of the Kirschstein-NRSA predoctoral fellowship (F31) and postdoctoral (F32) award is to enable promising predoctoral students to obtain individualized, mentored research training from outstanding faculty sponsors while conducting dissertation research in scientific health-related fields relevant to the missions of the participating NIH Institutes and Centers.
