I have worked on various aspects of radiation dosimetry since 1969. An important study was the determination of neutron dose with spherical ionization chambers as a function of diameter. This was published by A. Rubach and H. Bichsel in Phys. Med. Biol. 27 (1982) 893, 1003, 1231 and 1455 and in Phys. Med. Biol. 28 (1983) 913.

Another study was about the dosimetry for heavy fast ions: "Aspects of fast ion dosimetry", Hans Bichsel, T. Hiraoka and K. Omata, Rad. Res. 153 (2000) 208-219.
