Welcome to Ann Glusker's Faculty Web Page...

My main professional activity is working as an epidemiologist for Public Health-Seattle & King County, in the Epidemiology, Planning and Evaluation Unit, answering data requests and analyzing survey data. Here's a link to our publications.

I am also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Washington.

Here is the site for the book I wrote, based on my dissertation, as well as for an article I wrote long ago, when I was a career counselor (when, at that point, I had a yet more distant past as a social worker and having lived for two years in Japan).
Fertility Patterns of Native- and Foreign-Born Women: Assimilating to Diversity
A Student's Guide to International Social Work.

Believe it or not, I am also a student in the distance Master's in Library and Information Science Program. I am hoping that this career direction will allow me to combine my technical skills and interests with my joy in working directly with people in a service capacity. Also I love books.
