Exam-pack answer keys
- There are none
- The reason is this. Up to about five years
ago, there were no exam packs. At that time it was pretty evident that some
people were able to look at old exams because they were in fraternity or sorority
files or in the possession of friends. To be fair to those who didn't have
immediate access to such files, I created the exam packs by printing out and
compiling old exams. There weren't any answer keys then which is why there
aren't any now.
Homework #2: Due THURSDAY, 1/26/2006 at 12:30 PM. NOTE: Although
we granted amnesty for a couple of ill-directed homeworks, there will be none
in the future. Homework must be turned in to a TA prior to the deadline.
Do not turn in homework to anyone's mailbox or anywhere else except
for a TA.

homework to any TA at any time prior to the due time. TA Bailey Williams will
hold office hours in the Gould Coffee Shop from 9:30 to 12:30 on Thursdays,
so you can conveniently turn your homework into her if you wish. Remember that
late homework will not be graded. An answer sheet will be available as a download
from this Web site on Thursday shortly after the homework deadline.
- Chapter 1:1-4, 6, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 18,

You can pick up HW1 solutions here.
- NOTE: This, of course, means that you can
easily cheat on your HW by just downloading the HW answer sheet and copying

will do much more poorly on Exam 1.

here
Greetings!
- This site contains information that will
be relevant to Psychology 317-317 during Winter and Spring Quarters of 2006
(readings, homework, etc). Please bookmark it and check it at least once per
day. Newest information will be at the top of the page, but I will retain
all information throughout the quarter.
Lecture room
- To accomodate more people, the lecture room
is now Kane 220.
Same course from last year
- If you'd like to see this sheet for the
entire 317-318 sequence for last year (2005) then please click here.
Much of the course will be pretty much the same, so this information will
provide you pretty accurate peeks at what is to come between now and June,
2006. The main difference is that, this year, exams are on Mondays rather
than on Wednesdays. This change has ripple effects in terms of homework due
times, when homework is passed back, when quizzes happen, etc.
Documents that you will need. These will
be available in paper form on the first day of class, but should you need them,
you can download them.
Emailing questions to me
- I get 100 - 200 email messages a day and
it takes me a very long time to go through them. So I'd like you to be circumspect
in emailing questions to me. If you have a question that needs an urgent answer,
then phone me, stop by, or email me. However, if the question can be answered
by a TA, then please direct it to your TA or any TA. If the question can wait,
ask someone during office hours, or raise the question in section or in class.
Thanks
Readings #0 and #1: (Relevant to lectures
to be given weeks of 1/2 and 1/9)
- Preface, Introduction Chapter, and Chapter

NOTE TO PEOPLE WANTING ENTRY CODES
There is a limited amount of space in Psychology
317. I will not be giving out entry codes until the first week of class, at
which time, I'll know how many people are in the class. In the meantime, I have
established a waiting list, and people will be given entry codes on a first-on-the-waiting-list-first-come
basis. If you want to be on the waiting list, please email
me.
