Sampling QUantitative Internal-wave Distributions

SQUID is the APL-UW contribution to the National Oceanographic Partnership Program's Global Internal Waves Experiment. More info about the NGIW can be found at nopp-giw.ucsd.edu.

(1) For a quick overview of the times and locations of the collected EM-APEX profiles in the SQUID archive, check out the Azure cloud-based SQUID Data Explorer tool.

(2) Aggregated EM-APEX data files are available as follows:

allprofs11.mat contains all of the SQUID CTD and velocity profiles.

alldiss.mat contains all of the SQUID temperature microstructure profiles.

squid_zgrid.mat contains the above data on a common depth grid.

SQUID_all.nc is a NetCDF version of squid_zgrid.mat.
