Purpose

• Develop a correlation for predicting the pressure drop coefficient K1 around a 90o bend in a 3D circular pipe as a function of Reynolds number.

• Develop a 2nd order quadratic correlation relating the recovery length LR around the 90o bend to the Reynolds number.
