In TC 510, we study a wide range of documents in different media and genres, and we examine communication concepts and technologies that underlie these documents. The course draws from these fields of study: communication theory, media studies, rhetoric, educational psychology, graphic design, human-computer interaction, computer science, and technical communication.
The course will increase your understanding of mediated human communication, enable you to identify research topics you may wish to further explore, and prepare you to create superior documents and serve as a communication expert within organizations.
