CM 412: Construction Practice

CM 412 is a senior level core course offered in the Spring quarter in the Undergraduate Program in Construction Management.   The objective of this course is to introduce students to general business principles and concepts.  The emphasis is on decision support processes.  Major topics include ethics in construction management, organizational behavior, human resources, marketing, and corporate finance.  This is also a writing course and as such students are required to write two papers during the quarter based on their critical review of two management books.
