USA has led all of major technologies in the world in the past

China is trying to dethrone U= SA as the innovative leader of the world

They want to dominate the world with clean-tech techno= logies and electric vehicles

More engineers graduate in China than college students in USA

They spend “20x more money” on renewable e= nergy research and development than the US does

Not everyone looking into electric vehicles believes in global warming/climate change

US consumes much more energy per capita than other developing countries

There is an attribute in an electric vehicle that is different from an internal combustion vehicle:

It becomes cleaner over tim= e. Mechanical cars running on internal combustion engines get dirtier, gradual= ly takes more energy to run

US controls only 2% of worl= d oil reserves.

Third world countries are becoming more industrialized= , so the world demand for oil is increasing annually. By the year 2030 we will n= eed 150% of known oil reserves.

Other countries have higher taxes on oil prices so tha= t they can fund other things, like renewable energy technology.

Every economic crisis in US has been preceded by a disruption in oil supply

Every billion dollars we export to get oil, 27 million= jobs are lost.

If we can convert that money into generating our own e= nergy, then we can create jobs

Coal plants, nuclear power plants, and dams are still running all day long.
