Events and data random variables have probabilities under a probability model.
Hypotheses may have probabilities -- if you are a Bayesian.
Data DO NOT have likelihoods.
Anyone who says or writes ``likelihood of the data'' WILL LOSE POINTS.
The first person to catch me if/when I say ``likelihood of the data''
will earn bonus points.
(It may happen -- it's an easy thing to do -- but it is INCORRECT.)
