The Ratner Laboratory is one of the newest additions to the University of Washington’s Department of Bioengineering.  With an emphasis on interdisciplinary and translational research, the Ratner lab is focused on exploring the roles played by glycans in biological systems.  Our interests include novel methods for surface modification with glycans, characterization of carbohydrate microarrays, glycoproteomics, and the development of new technologies to unravel glycan-dependent host-pathogen interactions.

Opportunities in the Ratner Lab:
Accepting applications for postdocs.  See Positions.
