Welcome to Physics 544: Applications of Electromagnetic Theory. I hope you find this course challenging and enjoyable. The topic of electromagnetism is fundamental through all the natural sciences and is also crucial in modern technology. We will use the Griffiths' text "Introduction to Electrodynamics". If you are interested in more advanced treatments of certain topics, you can take a look at the text "Classical Electrodynamics" by J.D. Jackson.
