Please consider publishing my article in your prestigious rag, the Irreverent librarian journal. Here is the abstract:
Before Bob Knight charged to my rescue I was having a difficult time getting my employees to shelve books properly. You must understand that I divorced my first wife because she didn't stack the pots correctly so maybe my personality was partly to blame. We were experiencing too many instances of books that are too tall for the shelves being placed on the fore edge instead of the spine. The staff just didn't get it! Then Bob taught me how to apply the choke hold as I passed staff on their way to the coffee machine. We haven't had a single case of misshelved books since then. Next year I plan to follow Bob's hunting plan for getting the lead into their behinds if they don't start emptying the pencil sharpeners often enough. I've reserved the retreat center in Lubbock Texas just for that.
