Overload Policy / Add Codes:

Thank you for you interest in Econ 491 – Development Economics. Unless you are an exchange student the only way to get an add code is to show up at the first class of the quarter. Further instructions will be provided at the beginning of the class. You must attend all classes to qualify for an add code. There is no reason to email me, since you will simply be referred back to this page. Graduating seniors have priority together with master students, although being in one of these categories is not an guarantee that you will get an add code. Note that the class requires a substantial amount of work, so make sure you read the syllabus before applying for an add code.

Note that there will be no exceptions to the stated prerequisites. If you do not fulfill the requirements there is no point in emailing me. The class will be offered again in Winter and Spring 2010, so by then you will hopefully have passed the required courses.

If you are an exchange student please email me (once) with a description of what courses you have taken and why you have an interest in taking the course. I will do my best to get back to quickly, but please be patient.
