Funding opportunities are available for PhD research in the UWME Design for Environment Lab .  Projects include but are not limited to:

 (1) Environmental and economic Life Cycle Assessment of liquid crystal and plasma displays;

 (2) Sustainable bioenergy system design and Life Cycle Assessment; and

 (3) Fuel cell design, durability, and remanufacturing

Research assistantships include a stipend, benefits, and tuition.  Although not required, priority for funding will be given to students already holding a Master's degree in engineering or related fields.
