Mission Statement: “The Seattle Adolescent Research Project seeks to develop
a much needed base of knowledge on homeless adolescents through the collection
and dissemination of information about this understudied group. This mission
has two components: (1) To provide an empirical base of knowledge to researchers
who work with homeless adolescents; and (2) To translate the knowledge gathered
for use by treatment providers and other community agencies that can effect
change through direct interactions with youth or through public policy changes.”
Thank-You: This project was made possible by the National Institute of
Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse, Youth Care, and the Orion Center.
