In this lab you will study various aspects of galvanic electrochemical cells. You will construct nine different metal - metal ion half-cells and measure the voltages when electrochemical cells are constructed of these half-cells referenced to a 1 M silver - silver ion half cell. In addition you will construct concentration cells consisting of half cells of the same chemistry, but the metal ions at different concentrations. Finally, you will study the temperature dependence of selected cells.
