Abstract for Lecture #16 - (a) Real Gases: Deviations from Ideal Behavior (b) Chemistry in the Atmosphere

Real Gases fail to obey the ideal gas law at high pressures or low temperatures. The van der Waals provides a more accurate description of gases under these conditions.

We will discuss how air pollution arises.
