There are so many things that need doing that seem more important than maintaining this web page that I'm afraid I haven't done it very well! Feel free to email me if you have questions after visiting here.
Some reasons you might have come...
- Teaching - As a faculty member of the Department of Architecture I teach courses in architecture and design computing areas (see below). For more information on these courses, visit the Architecture Department web site, or visit the links below.
- Arch 370: Computers in Architecture (renumbered as Arch 380)
- Arch 481: 3D Modeling and Rendering (previously taught as Arch 411: Computer Graphics Applications)
- Arch 478: CAD & Working Drawings (no web site)
- Arch 482: Web Weaving
- Arch 484: Design Computing Seminar
- Arch 485: Digital Craft: Special Projects
- Arch 486: Computer Graphics Programming for Design
- Arch 587: Theory of Design Computing
- Studio: "Cybrids: a digital design studio"
- Studio: "High Phyber Architecture: a digital design studio"
- Studio: "Monuments and Mutability: a digital design studio"
- Research - There are several projects that I am working on as part of the Design Machine Group .... perhaps you are looking for one of them?
- EVAL (web based design evaluation), presented at ACADIA'99 (pdf)
- Compadres (web based group support), presented at eCAADe 2000 (pdf), CAAD Futures 2001, (pdf), and CSCL 2002 (pdf).
- entourage3D (web based 3D model archive), online here
- Software Development There are several pieces of software that I have made available as "postcardware" on the Internet, under the general title of Web Tools Software.
- ACADIA - The Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture is an international association of academics and professionals dedicated to exploring and enhancing the relationship between design and information technologies. I was president of this organization from October 1999 to October 2000. Email me, or visit the organization's web site for more information.
