Storytelling and Sharing Page

Some of the best art making is about telling stories. And, in my experience, some of the best art provokes the audience to tell their stories. Most of my site-specific work became explicitly interactive back in 1983, and so it made sense to create a website that functioned in a similar way.

My hope is that this part of the artsforchange.org website will work as a kind of cyber community dialog about issues that are provoked by images and words at this site. I am particularly interested in your own experiences with environmental illness, cultural identity, body hate, and various forms of oppression. I would also like to know how you have found a path to healing and what visions you have for creating a more just, creative and peaceful world.
