[Apply Within was an audio installation that satirized employment agencies and confronted the dilemma of looking for work in contemporary society. The audience was invited to sit down, the tape automatically switched on and voices asked an imaginary applicant absurd questions. ...] Other voices discussed the difficulty of finding satisfying and valuable work in our society and the inadequacy of the educational system. Many people who came to the piece were actually looking for work and told the artist they felt moved and less isolated after hearing the eight minute tape.
