“Daily Reminder” is an audio installation about 9-5 life from a secretary's point of view. Two rooms, a skeletal office and a dark, locker room were filled with the voices of women coping (in the office) and escaping (in the health club locker room). The insides of lockers were lit by closet lights and contained objects symbolizing escape were placed in each. The sounds of photocopy machines were in the office space and musak played in the locker room. Exhibition: Beaver Street Space, in the Wall Street area of NYC with funds from Artists' Space (1979).
