Prior to graduate school admission I worked at Harborview Medical Center, here in Seattle, coordinating research on anxiety disorders in the primary care setting. Current, though evolving, research interests include past childhood sexual abuse among men and the impact this, and resulting sequelae, may have on HIV risk-related behaviors. The dynamics of heterosexual HIV transmission is also a developing research interest. Anxiety disorders and diagnostic comorbidity among disadvantaged populations remain clinical interests of mine.
