IND E 535 Engineering Simulation
In this course, students will learn advanced
techniques in simulation modeling and analysis
using Arena simulation software. Students will
be expected to present, critique, and discuss
current simulation research and apply their
simulation knowledge to simulate and analyze a
real-world system.
Prerequisites: IND E 424 or permission of instructor.
This course will begin with Chapter 7 of the
textbook, so a working knowledge of basic simulation
concepts and the Arena modeling software is required.
Textbook: Kelton, W. David, Randall P.
Sadowski, and David T. Sturrock (2004). Simulation
with Arena, 3rd Edition, McGraw-Hill.
