This class introduces you to how natural scientists conduct their research. You’ll learn by doing, working with your classmates to be the first people to analyze newly collected data. It is a required course for science students in IAS (STE, STS, ES and BSES) and S&T (Biology), and is also open to others who are interested in scientific inquiry. You’ll learn approaches to communicating science, analyzing and presenting data and reviewing literature. These skills are used in advanced science courses at UWB and to interpret science in general.
