It is my pleasure to announce that the David R. M. Scott Endowed Professorship in Forest Resources has been fully funded. In addition, we will receive a fifty percent match from the UW Founders Fund.

The CFR Alumni Association deserves major credit for initiating this Professorship under the Presidency of Dale Cole. Many members of the CFRAA contributed their support to bring this endowment to fruition. In addition the Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation and Mr Mort Lauridsen made significant contributions for which we are deeply grateful.

An announcement concerning the process we will follow to award the Professorship will be forthcoming shortly. Thanks to everyone who helped with this endowment.
