A copy of the text is on reserve at the Odegaard Undergraduate Library. As described below, you may also choose to use the online version of the text in lieu of purchasing the hard copy text.
CourseCompass and MyMathLab (Required): An access code is included with your textbook package (if you buy a new text from the U Bookstore) and provides access to CourseCompass and MyMathLab as well as the Prentice-Hall Tutor Center available by phone. Purchase of access also provides access to the online version of our text as well as to an online statistical computing package - StatCrunch. To view, go to the CourseCompass web link and click on the MultiMedia button in the panel on the left of the screen.
If you purchased a used text and do not have an access code for CourseCompass/MyMathLab, or if you only wish to use the online version of our text, you can purchase access to both packages online. Go to the CourseCompass web site and click the Register button in the Students dialog box on the right. Access one of the options to purchase your access code.
Included under Chapter Contents are a Student's Solution Manual containing solutions to odd-numbered section exercises and Chapter Review exercises and solutions to all the (odd and even) Try It Yourself exercises and Chapter Quiz exercises. A copy of the Student's Solution Manual is on reserve at the Odegaard Undergraduate Library. In addition, you may view a series of videos for each chapter and each chapter quiz. These videos are available on the CourseCompass web site under Chapter Contents (check the chapter and section of interest).
