Colleagues

Colleagues I am pleased to announce that Professor Kern Ewing was selected as the 2009 S. Sterling Munro Public Service Teaching Award recipient. In his letter, President Emmert stated that, "your students and colleagues nominated you with highest praise for being a leader in ecological restoration and founding the UW Restoration Ecology Network." Please join me in applauding Kern on this outstanding achievement.

The award will be presented at the University's Recognition Ceremony, Thursday, June 11 at 3:30-4:30 in Meany Hall Auditorium. I hope as many as possible can attend this event to help honor Kern. Many thanks.
