Colleagues,

Please join me in congratulating Professor Linda Brubaker for being one of the top four persons nominated for the 2006 Landolt Distinguished Graduate Mentor Award. For this, she received Honorable Mention and will be listed on the Graduate School's website, in letters to nominees and administrators, and in future Graduate School publications.

We also congratulate Professor John Perez-Garcia who was nominated for the same award. We commend him for his recognition as a mentor and thank him for the contributions he makes to graduate education of our students.

We are very proud of both of these outstanding faculty and wish them continued future success.
