Colleagues

I am very pleased to announce that two of our faculty have been appointed to endowed faculty positions:

Professor Thomas Hinckley will hold the David R.M. Scott Endowed Professorship in Forest Resources

Professor Renata Bura will hold the Denman Professorship in Pulp and Paper Science

Both appointments are effective September 16, 2007 for a three year term which, based upon documented satisfactory performance, may be extended for a final period of two additional years. According to our policy, faculty may continue to hold an endowment beyond five years, but in no case will we request an extension beyond ten years.
