I am extremely pleased to announce that Dick and Mary Ellen Denman have established the Denman Chair in Bio-Resource Science and Engineering in our College. Funded at $1 MM, the new Chair is eligible for, and received, a $0.5 MM match from the University's Founders Matching Initiative.

This new $1.5 MM Chair will greatly facilitate the transformation of our PSE program as it focuses on research and educational opportunities related to sustainable bio-based products and sources of energy that better serve society.
