Dear Colleagues,

In order to provide additional input into our budget discussions this academic year, I am appointing an Ad Hoc Staff Budget Advisory Group. This group, like the EFC, will advise me on budgetary policy and priorities.

In a separate email to follow, I provide some background information which outlines two major tasks for which I seek your advice. If you have any questions, Karen and/or I are available to meet with you at any time. Thank you for agreeing to help the College as we address this serious budgetary situation.

The following staff serve on this Group:

Ann Corby (Chair), Carrie Cone, Lynn Catlett, Linda Hegrenes, Tom Mentele, John Shipman and Leslie Wall.

At your convenience, I wish to meet with you to discuss some background budgetary information. If possible, I wish this meeting to occur during the week of November 25 or December 2, 2002. Thank you for agreeing to help the College.
